Canopy Biosciences is looking for a Research Associate to join our multiplex immunofluorescence operations team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the operational execution of both service and product lines featuring the ChipCytometry high-plex proteomics spatial-profiling platform. The candidate will be expected to participate in experimental design, Assay kit validation and fulfillment, throughput optimization, while also generating detailed records, analyzing results, and generating standard operating procedures. Responsibilities
    Perform assays and lab procedures related to Multiplex IHC assays including fluorescent imaging, antibody staining, PBMC isolation, and tissue sectioning according to SOPs using appropriate laboratory techniques
  • Maintain reagent and consumable inventories related to assay kit distribution.
  • Perform Quality Control testing of assay kit reagents.
  • Fulfill orders related to assay kit distribution.
  • Assist with consumable order fulfillment.
  • Work on routine assignments as well as other assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, and digital databases
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies. This will include routine handling and lifting of laboratory supplies and bench-top equipment
  • Collaborate across teams to accomplish specific tasks and company objectives within project timelines
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS in Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of organization and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
  • Proficiency in histological techniques such as IF/IHC, H&E staining, and microtome/cryotome operation is preferred but not required

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $54,000 and $99,000. You will have the ability progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
