Ad Hoc is looking for a Solution Architect III to join the Growth Team.

This position requires Government Contracting experience.

This is a remote position, however, you will need to be able to commute to the Washington DC Office (1350 I Street) approximately twice per month.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as an emerging individual contributor within a team, expanding your leadership, guidance and mentoring skills. With the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for managing the development of technical solutions, and supporting business development and capture management activities, while ensuring adherence to organizational processes and policies. You will interact with stakeholders and utilize influential skills to drive improvements and consensus in support of meeting growth objectives. Primary expectations of a Solution Architect III include:

  • Exhibits influential skills to drive and lead the development of solutions and present to government customers

  • Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of government contracting and unique technical needs and requirements of government customers

  • Creates and delivers demos, proposals, presentations, and other customer-facing artifacts that support Growth activities

  • Supporting Ad Hoc account teams as they identify and pursue growth opportunities

  • Effectively communicating the impact and value of Ad Hoc's work in the proposal product

  • Facilitating and creating solution strategies with the Growth team and practitioners from Ad Hoc's Product, Engineer, and Experience disciplines

  • Developing artifacts and processes that support Ad Hoc's Technical Solutions and Growth functions

  • Staying current on emerging technologies and how they relate to Ad Hoc's current and future work, and communicate this internally and externally

  • Ability to understand technical requirements and articulate solutions that meet the desired outcome

  • Provides overall staffing recommendations in order to deliver upon customer objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience

    • Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education

  • Minimum one year of Federal Contracting experience
  • Progressive experience with current and emerging technologies used in software development, customer facing conversations, software solution development, facilitation tools, and technical writing

In support of theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, and others like it across the country, Ad Hoc job descriptions feature the starting range we reasonably expect to pay to candidates who would join our team with little to no need for training on the responsibilities we've outlined above. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility.
