Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for a Licensing Administrator to maintain various business licenses (e.g. Occupational permits, Secondhand Dealer permits and various other Tax Permits/Certificates) for current retail stores as well as obtaining licenses for future state of the art musical instrument retail stores. An ideal candidate will be a solid team player with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management.   • Obtain and organize licenses for 300+ retail locations
  • Utilize licensing software to facilitate maintenance and processing of licenses
  • Review store license requirements and laws for new and existing stores
  • Assist with processing payments
  • Mail licenses to stores
  • Communicate with store personnel on licensing issues and provide necessary support
  • Obtain financial data in order to accurately report store sales to jurisdictions
  • Various administrative duties (faxing, scanning, filing, and copying documents) as well as data entry to track licenses

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma and knowledge of retail operations a plus
  • Experience interacting with government agencies desired
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word user
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and interdepartmentally
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to adapt to constant changes of priorities based on the needs of the company
  • Able to comfortably navigate the internet to do research

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00/hr depending on background and experience.
