Essential Functions & Duties:

As ServiceNow Solution Architect:
  • Primary POC to client; Engage with stakeholders and understand business needs, develop technical solutions
  • Lead design workshops, collaborate with development team and set technical direction to configure, customize, and integrate ServiceNow
  • Make recommendations and proposals to leadership on architectural integration design both within ServiceNow platform and with other systems via integrations
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes, enhance system processes, and end user experience
  • Develop platform roadmap and strategy aligning with client's strategic direction
  • Create and update documents as needed (e.g., Configuration document)
  • Implement best practices as per Synergy and ServiceNow standards
  • Mentor and guide team members as needed

Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide insight and expertise in level of effort, timeline, and status updates
  • Lead design workshops and develop technical solutions to configure and customize ServiceNow
  • Provide technical expertise for issues related to development
  • Create and implement Business rules, client scripts, UI Policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Portal Pages, etc.
  • Develop integration with other ServiceNow instances or 3rd party tools
  • Develop and maintain processes for user management, license compliance, audit requirements
  • Migration of update sets to different environments (dvlp to prod)
  • Work with QA team to validate solution and ensure quality product is delivered
  • Support client intake of new functionality and determining the appropriate solution whether ServiceNow or technologies in the client stack.
  • 8 years of experience of multiple technologies preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow preferred
  • In depth technical knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow architecture and applications (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM and key modules), Portal, and Integration Hub
  • Knowledge about workflows, reporting, and dashboards
  • Experience in ServiceNow administration and development
  • Experience in developing custom applications
  • Excellent experience in Java scripting, Angular, UI, SQL, HTML, JSON, REST, etc.
  • Experience in ServiceNow Integration techniques, Import sets, Transform maps, Orchestration, LDAP integration
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow upgrades and patches
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in working Agile environment and handle multiple priorities

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation specialist (CIS - ITSM) preferred
  • ServiceNow Technical Architect (preferred)
  • TOGAF or C4 ( preferred)
  • ITIL certification (preferred)

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance per Federal requirement
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must pass a background investigation

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $133,000 - $175,000.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
