Leidos is seeking a talented SharePoint Developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

What's in it for you?

The SharePoint Developer will work under and alongside our Lead Developer to create and maintain highly customized SharePoint Online environments and tool suites to provide program management and configuration management capabilities for internal and DoD programs.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

• Build and Support SharePoint sites built using on premises and online versions of SharePoint

  • Create custom list and library configurations

  • Design user interfaces in SharePoint using JSON customization and other standard development tools

  • Create custom automation using Microsoft Power Automate and occasionally Nintex workflows

• Collaborate with internal teams and end users

  • Understand user needs and functions\flows

  • Translate needs into technical requirements

  • Create effective and efficient solutions

• Communicate well

  • Articulate complex designs to both technical, non-technical team members and end-users clearly

  • Respond appropriately to requests for information

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology-intensive discipline or similar degree, with 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters Degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

• Application development experience with on premises and online versions of SharePoint

  • Scripting experience using custom development with JavaScript, and JSON

  • Power Automate experience

• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required

• Highly self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
