Department OverviewDRN, a Motorola Solutions company, equips LPR cameras to scan license plates every day, building up a historical scan database that serves the clients and the entire network in generating more hits and recoveries. DRN maintains the largest database of scans and the numbers continue to grow daily.Job Description

The Implementation and Inventory Specialist will work closely with different departments to maintain an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies for New Markets and DRN Agents. In addition, receiving, organizing and maintaining all hardware that is shipped and received from the Fort Worth office. The Implementation and Inventory Specialist will also test and configure equipment and facilitate virtual site visits for the placement of hardware for new and existing clients among other tasks if needed.

  • Manage the receiving of new and used inventory for both new markets and DRN Affiliates

  • Test systems to ensure they are working correctly.

  • Manage the receiving of new and used inventory for both new markets and DRN Affiliates.

  • Maintain inventory list of New Market and Affiliate Hardware

  • Work closely with multiple departments to initiate the ordering of equipment when needed

  • Regular updates of shared documents regarding training material, customer requests and completed tasks (for learning.)

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • You must be ability to lift and operate 25 - 50 lbs

  • Must be a motivated self-starter with a drive to learn and self-managed to perform the required duties at a distance from direct supervision

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Highly Organized

  • Networking, Technical Support & troubleshooting experience preferred.

    • Strong knowledge of basic networking (how to configure an IP Address and subnet)

    • Basic understanding of Windows Command Prompt and Linux Terminal ( how to open, how to enter commands, understanding what is returned )

    • Strong knowledge of wired communications systems, such as local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), must be proficient in computer network installation, configuration and maintenance systems to include cabling and routers

This position will work on site at the Fort Worth, TX location.

Basic Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years experience in inventory.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
