Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Will be responsible for creating a plan for every part (PFEP) on the plant floor. Prepare space for each raw material stock SKU. The coordinator will be responsible for cycle counting for quantity and location accuracy. Document all material locations in Macola.

Prepare locations by non-stock type. Work with all manufacturing departments to increase cycle count accuracy and follow up with cycle count inaccuracies to identify the issues and develop corrective actions.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Establish PFEP for the shop floor
  • Create locations and space consistent with the PFEP
  • Assist with creation of the cycle count plan
  • Conduct daily cycle counts
  • Follow up on all cycle count inaccuracies with corrective actions where possible
  • Follow up with departments when materials are not in their proper place according to the PFEP
  • Work closely with the Inventory Analyst in Manilla to make changes to the manufacturing floor PFEP
  • Cycle Count quantity and location accuracy
  • PFEP completion and ongoing adjustments

  • 1 year plus of Inventory control experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Capability to assemble racking
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to learn Lean Principles
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to enter data into the MRP system
