Summary:
In this role you will be developing the overall sales in the organization and play an important role in realizing our growth ambition for this business, as well as further grow the team.Your main responsibility will be to realize profitable business growth for the complete lubrication portfolio in this region, through existing and new sales channels. You will develop sales capabilities throughout North America and championing best practice initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of Sales Managers and their teams (~29 people in total), e.g., motivate the team to achieve targets, support them in their development, ensure succession plans for key positions across territories.
  • Lead the Local Applications Center (LAC) in North America.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end growth plans for key industries, business-lines or growth areas, and ensure development of new and additional business opportunities in line with the SKF strategy.
  • Ensure profitability by e.g. deploying price leadership strategy and value-based selling capabilities.
  • Provide input to business- and product-line strategy, based on customer- and distributor needs and competitor capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Ample experience in sales and business management at a senior level and in an international environment, with commercial awareness with comprehensive business understanding.
  • Experience in distribution channel development in the industrial lubrication market with ability to develop good relationships with distributors, OEM's and end users.
  • Strategic ability with a forward-thinking mindset
  • Ability to drive change and challenge existing structures and behaviors within and outside own area of responsibility.
  • Affinity with technical products and industrial markets within the Lubrication market.
  • Great leadership and communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Have the ability to work within an international environment and interact with different cultures and operational units.
