The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for our Dental Hygiene Educational Specialist staff position in the Allied Health department. The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio and one of the most diverse colleges at the University of Cincinnati. The college is in Blue Ash, Ohio fifteen miles north of the uptown campus, on 135 acres in a park-like setting. The Dental Hygiene Educational Specialist will provide clinical and laboratory instruction and perform support activities for the teaching needs of dental hygiene clinics and laboratories. UC Blue Ash Dental Hygiene is a selective admissions program with approximately 38 students per class.
This Educational Specialist staff position is 75% Full-Time-Equivalency (FTE.) The position is benefits eligible. Average weekly hours will be 40 hours/week during the Fall and Spring semesters. This position will not report to work for most of the summer semester. Sample working days usually run from August 15th through May 15th yearly. Working hours may include mornings after 8:00am, afternoons, or early evenings Monday-Friday.
Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene or Health related field.
Three (3) years of experience in clinical dental hygiene.
