Centric Consulting is an international management consulting firm with expertise in digital, business and technology. We are looking for a Java Developer to join our growing team.

While this position is remote, we do require candidates to attend an onsite interview as well as be onsite for their first week of employment.

In this role, you will:

• Code, debug, test, deploy, support and document moderately to highly complex application software.
• Analyze moderately to highly complex software and recommend and implement solutions.
• Incorporate security and other relevant bank and system controls into solutions.
• Adhere to bank and system software development methodologies and standards.
• Comply with SAFR, DLP, Privacy and audit requirements.
• Ensure secure coding, contingency, and deployment methodologies are in place upon moderately to highly complex software implementation.
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance.

Who you are:

• Moderately to highly complex analytical skills.
• Ability to perform moderate to highly complex independent research.
• Advanced technical skills in Java, Angular, and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with JBehave and / or Cucumber testing frameworks.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Java/J2EE concepts, object-oriented design, and development.
• Proficient with test driven development.
• Continuous integration & deployment experience.
• API development and best practices.
