As a 2nd shift Production Supervisor, you will be heading a team in the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Switchgear LV (Low Voltage) and MV (Medium Voltage), ELDS (Electrification Distribution Solutions) in Mebane, NC, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies. In this role, you will lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost effective manner to achieve business overall metrics within the ABB values.

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred with minimum of 3 years of experience OR Associate degree plus 5 years OR HS diploma/GED plus 7 years experience in a manufacturing or product development environment or equivalent leadership experience
• Must be able and willing to work on 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 12:30 AM)
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs
• Six Sigma Green Belt or a proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects preferred
• Project management skills to lead small Kaizen projects preferred
