Nurse Practitioner Acute Care
Shift: Days--two 8-hour shifts
Status: 0.4 FTE 16 hours/week
Unit: Hem/Onc Clinical Services
Experience: Hem/Onc/BMT experience and CPHON certification preferred or sought within 2 years
This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work with the leukemia/lymphoma team to manage the care of pediatric patients with leukemia or lymphoma from diagnosis through active therapy until transition to survivorship care. This APP will work largely outpatient in the clinic and infusion clinic settings with some collaboration with the inpatient team. The most ideal candidate for this position has Hem/Onc/BMT experience, APP experience and is CPHON certified. If not CPHON certified this will be asked to be completed within 3 years of starting. The most ideal candidate also is highly organized, works well in a fast paced, multidisciplinary team setting and is independent in clinical care.
Provides healthcare to individuals or groups that requires knowledge and skill obtained from advanced formal education, certification and clinical experience. Practices within professional scope and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the profession?s Code of Ethics and maintains a current Ohio Advanced License.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Note frequency as Constantly (67-100%), Frequently (34-66%) and Occasionally (0-33%) for each requirement. Also note any lifting requirements with pound limit.
