We are a professional services firm that provides third-party retirement plan administration services for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) and 401(k) Plans. We have offices in Charlottesville, VA, Columbia, MD, Pasadena, CA, Columbus, OH and Westchester, IL, although our client base is nationwide. We are hiring fantastic Senior ESOP Administrators.
The Role:
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in ESOP knowledge and be customer focused. As a Senior ESOP Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of engagement management, including recordkeeping, compliance testing, distributions, and regulatory reporting. Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, written and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Work independently and set priorities with minimal supervision while effectively managing a caseload of large and complex ESOP clients where you are primarily responsible for all aspects of the ESOP administration process.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Interpret documents and resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week during peak times.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics
  • 10+ years’ experience working specifically on ESOP administration including ESOP related compliance testing such as 409(p) testing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ESOP’s and other qualified retirement plans
  • Possess or working towards QPA or QKA certification highly desirable.
  • Experience in ESOP plan review highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and advanced level Excel skills
