General Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will have 24-hour accountability for all business unit results, daily management systems and organizational health. They will be responsible for managing and improving the results within the Napoleon Distribution Center as needed to contribute to the overall plant Compelling Business Need and journey map. In this role they will manage the people, equipment and processes that come together to create end products in a way that is preferred to consumers and downstream customers. This person will help develop strategies that are aligned with our business strategy to help improve the following: Warehousing, Transportation, & Carrier service to assure that satisfactory customer service is provided to Food Services, Club Store, Rapid Response and regular retail customers. They will work to incorporate new reliability tools into the current systems in a way that is meaningful and drive continuous improvement and produces extraordinary results.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure clear direction and priorities for the business unit and that these are aligned with the site.
  • Manage personnel for safe and efficient finished product warehousing and all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Help create and control budgets for Warehouse operations across three shifts.
  • Develop Team Leaders, Service leaders and other leadership through training, coaching and facilitation.
  • Track and gap results vs work plan and budget for all KPI's including safety and quality.
  • Oversees and maintains warehouse systems, all distribution equipment including supplies, dock doors, and Material Handler and Examiners.
  • Provide safe, sanitary, and secure warehousing at all locations while keeping accurate inventories.
  • Patrol the fence: work distracting interference interface issues with other areas and eliminate false barriers.
  • Lead the development of key daily management systems such as DDS, RCFA, Continuous Improvement and Operational Standards documentation.
  • Communicate business unit results and needs to senior management.

Job Complexity:

  • Position works across all 3 shifts to manage the business unit.
  • Involved in all activities including daily management, budgeting, strategic planning, TDC initiatives, enabler planning and execution and the capital forecasting process.
  • Interface with multiple functions with the plant, as well as WHQ, Engineering, Process Safety, Transportation, Planning and annual network teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of Warehouse Operations, Transportation and Logistics Experience.

  • Above average knowledge of computer database system tools, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Good planning, prioritizing and organization and multiple priority management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$72,900-$117,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
