Essential Job Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable. accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions and other duties as assigned by management:

  • Support recruiting efforts (to include creating and managing on-line postings, schedule interviews, administer assessments, extends offers, prepare new hire paperwork) and participate in the planning and execution of activities and events to fill all open positions. Organize and facilitate on-boarding (conduct orientation, present and explain benefit offerings to ensure a welcoming and inclusive experience).
  • Assist with HR operations in processing payroll and maintaining HRIS data.
  • Enhance employee engagement through efficient management of resignations, terminations, and exit interviews. Identify trends in employee departures to drive improvements.
  • Practices strong engagement with all team members including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems and showing respect to sustain a positive culture.
  • Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency both internally and with vendor partners.
  • Facilitate HR processes and operations programs to ensure ethical, fair and consistent approach.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR files.
  • Act as a key participant for: Wellness program, open enrollment, ensure compliance with policies, procedures, requirements and applicable legal regulations and
  • Review and analyze vendor reports/invoices and Paycom data to ensure current benefit programs are in compliance with plan design and contract provisions. Provide support for compliance and non-discrimination testing.
  • Conduct FMLA leave administration process from the employee's initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. Including: gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certifications, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of management; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust
  • Ability to confidentially manage HR and medical related information
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and professional conduct at all times
  • This is an in-office position working from our Mason HQ facility
