Job Description

The Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for preparing and delivering high quality daytime in person courses in both developmental and college level mathematics. Additional responsibilities include assessment of student performance, keeping classroom attendance records, submission of early alerts and final grades by the required date as well as participating in professional development.

  • Deliver high quality classes.
  • Perform and record timely assessments, grades, and other feedback for students and the institution.
  • Utilize learning management systems and learning software, where necessary.
  • Maintain and submit student reports periodically as required by the college.

Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics OR Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics is required.

Knowledge of and experience with various teaching strategies or programs. One year or more of tutoring or teaching experience preferred, including experience impacting educational attainment amongst diverse student populations.
