Worthington Enterprises is seeking an experienced Sr. Demand Planner to join our growth-oriented company with established consumer product brands, which include:

• Coleman outdoor fuel
• Bernzomatic and Mag Tools Torches and Fuel
• General Tools precision tools
• Garden Weasel lawn and garden tools and accessories
• Level5 drywall and masonry tools
• Halo grills, griddles and pizza ovens

The Sr. Demand Planner will be responsible for demand planning activities within the Consumer Products business unit. The demand planner will use analytics, marketing, and sales data to effectively create forecasts for future demand at both product family and customer/item level detail. To succeed in the role, the demand planner should be highly analytical, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and have in-depth knowledge of advanced forecasting techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains a rolling 18-month forecast for finished products.
• Facilitates demand process to arrive at consensus forecast with Sales Managers/Directors, Brand Directors, and Finance Team.
• Generates measurement systems and reports designed to measure and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and maintain effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
• Supporting management with risk assessments and scenario planning.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Support S&OP cycle by leading monthly demand consensus meeting.
• Leads demand planning meetings as part of S&OP cycle.
• Responsible for preparation, analysis, and presentation of relevant material to facilitate a monthly demand planning cycle.
• Provide input to the Supply Planning team to develop inventory strategies, shift structures, etc.
• Maintain training materials and organizing training to educate the business on Integrated Planning Tool best practices.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or a similar role, preferably in the Retail or CPG industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency utilizing integrated business planning software, preferably Kinaxis
• Experience using data visualization software, preferably Tableau
• Familiar with advanced analytical tools for gathering, cleaning, and modeling data (Example: Alteryx)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
