What you'll do

As part of the G&A Finance team, the FP&A Manager will partner closely across DocuSign's General and Administrative areas, performing various financial analysis, modeling, designing and preparation of reporting and budgets for various stakeholders and leadership. They will ensure financial and operating decisions are based on accurate financial data, and apply financial expertise to inform overall strategy. The FP&A Manager will partner closely with leadership teams across DocuSign, guiding investment strategy at a key point of our evolution, and will have a critical impact on DocuSign's near & long-term success.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, FP&A

Responsibility

  • Own and manage the organization's monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range planning with high financial predictability and accuracy
  • Conduct performance, forecast and other financial metric review with leadership teams to include budget, headcount, vendor delivery and related cost analysis, etc.
  • Own consolidated financials for the overall G&A organization, in partnership with other FP&A team members
  • Develop robust financial analysis models and complete ad-hoc business projects to streamline decision-making
  • Ensure financial objectives such as margins, growth, efficiency, productivity, etc. are appropriately analyzed and understood by business partners
  • Partner with the company's accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results
  • Prepare insightful analytics and presentations to help guide strategic directions and provide recommendations to senior leadership
  • Partner and build out strategic partnerships with business leaders in G&A, drive financial processes, strategic decision making and initiative prioritization
  • Lead/mentor Financial Analyst direct reports (up to 2) performing related analysis and business level support

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Related Field
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience as a FP&A business partner or similar position
  • Experience with reporting, Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling

Preferred

  • Proficiency in Adaptive, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Tableau, Visier
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial concepts
  • Experience supporting product, engineering, or platform/infrastructure
  • Track record of successfully partnering with globally distributed stakeholders
  • Experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, leading to recommendation and action plans


Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $122,300 - $190,650 base salary
