We are an established organization with a strong global presence and excellent reputation as one of the leaders in our industry.Job Summary: Reports to the COE Sr. Manager, Service Bureau, and is key to ensuring customer demands are planned and executed to meet contractual commitments through the most efficient use of production resources and capacity.Job Duties:
Maintain an accurate production schedule for all customer orders released to production with associated daily updates.
Support implementation of Tactic scheduling tool, to produce schedules for each resource.
Ensure that production has the necessary schedules to execute the orders in the required timeframe, using the relevant resources and in the correct priority to meet customer commitments
Collaborate with the Planner Analyst, Sales, Customer Service and Service Bureau Leadership to develop the necessary production plans for out of cycle requests (e.g. projects, unanticipated delays)
Provide the central point of contact regarding the status of customer orders and production availability, including proactive / early warning of issues or delays that could impact our ability to deliver customer commitments
Maintain and communicate various scheduling and status related reports as required to ensure Sales, Customer Service and Management are efficiently informed
Chair and maintain effective communication of the daily production status meetings
Provide back support to the Planner Analyst.
Other duties as required to support the changing business needs
Comply with G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager.

6:30A-3:00PM M-F will be the standard working time
Flexibility on schedule is required
Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education is preferred
At least three (2) years of production scheduling
Experience in a personalization, fulfillment, or mailing environment preferred
Experience with Tactic scheduling tool preferred
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Above average computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, ERP systems
Understanding of general safety requirements.
Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience preferred.
