JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

1st Shift

Flexible work schedule - ideally will be available 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 5-6 hours per day

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The General Helper is responsible for general facility work and organizing in different departments of the facility. Experience in the below duties and responsibilities is required.

  • Facility improvements
  • Improving service levels
  • Coordinate schedules
  • Optimize processes
  • Organizing the warehouse
  • Floor Operations
  • Safety inspection/s: as needed
  • Support 5S program
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the fundamental principles associated with the Quality and Environmental Management systems in place
  • Responsible for communicating daily with all levels of employees in order to assist in resolving problems and achieving company goals
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner

Qualifications
  • Must have excellent work history and attendance
  • Experience in excel, outlook required
  • Experience with Safety Processes
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must have experience in preforming the job duties and responsibilities listed
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to walk
  • Frequently required to stand; sit; bend; stoop; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; lift; climb and/or balance for essential tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Specific vision abilities include close-up and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to document activities and events
  • Goal oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Sincere commitment to help others, team player, self-motivated and willing to drive change
