A Brief Overview


This position serves as the primary liaison between the IT team and the Field Operations organization within Safelite. This role focuses on understanding the Field Operations strategic objectives and aligning IT strategy and solutions to meet those objectives. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifies opportunities for technology to improve business processes, and ensures that IT initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented to support organizational goals.

The IT Business Relationship Partner will also collaborate with the global corporate office to help design and implement standard operating models, develop a change management strategy, and operationalize across Safelite and other regions. He/she will lead strategic and implementation planning discussions across multiple regions to reach consensus on a common change management vision and strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Develops and nurtures strong relationships with business unit leaders, functional executives, and other key stakeholders to understand their strategy, objectives, priorities, and challenges.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights on how technology can support and advance their strategic goals.

  • Represent Safelite while working with the global corporate office to develop and standardize a common, global operating model for the IT organization.

  • Collaborate with field operation leaders to align IT strategies, initiatives, and resources with overall business objectives.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement through the effective use of technology.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in demand planning, prioritization, resourcing, and execution of IT initiatives.

  • Ensure that initiative goals, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders.

  • Lead and facilitate communication across IT teams and key stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are managed and feedback is effectively addressed.

  • Lead and coordinate recurring meetings and updates to keep stakeholders informed of IT activities, major initiatives, and offerings.

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to IT initiatives and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure consistency and compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and security standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology or related field.

  • 10+ years proven leadership and management experience in a Business Relationship Management or similar role within the IT industry.

  • 10+ years proven experience in working with and supporting Service teams including (but not limited to) Call Center operations, Field Service Technicians, Dispatchers, and Service Leaders.

  • 4-6 years proven experience in deploying Salesforce platform and products such as CRM, CPQ, Service Cloud, and FSL. Required

  • 4-6 years proven experience in leading Center of Excellence (COE) or shared service organizations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. (High proficiency)

  • Product and project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. (High proficiency)

  • Agile experience and other project management methodologies (High proficiency)

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive organizational change. (High proficiency)

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills. (High proficiency)
