Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end contract operations at Olympic Steel, ensuring a seamless process from order entry to material delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including traffic, production, and sales, to guarantee efficient and effective contract fulfillment.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize contract processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor contract timelines and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Act as a liaison with customers, addressing queries, ensuring satisfaction throughout the contract lifecycle, and promptly resolving any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, deliveries, and customer interactions to uphold data integrity.
• Analyze data to identify trends and contribute to continuous operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in contract management and operations, preferably in the steel/metals industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams within a diverse community.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization.
• Familiarity with insights and sales operations is a plus
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field; previous steel/metals experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.
• Desire to build client relationships and increase sales knowledge/experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while managing individual goals and objectives.
• High energy and drive, strong business and data analysis skills, excellent prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, most notably Excel and Office.
