Overview

The Process Engineer 2 is responsible for internal process improvement and the development and execution of projects. This position will lead, organize and facilitate cross-functional projects as well as work with teams to determine, implement and improve systems and processes.

What you will be doing
    Conducts cross functional and strategic improvement projects supporting quality and process improvement, engaging with lines of business, and other members of technical teams with guidance from team members
  • Improves standard processes to shorten the time it takes to bring products, services, and ideas to fruition including processes to identify, qualify, prioritize, and select a project; the tools, approaches, and reporting utilized to achieve and measure success; create, refine, and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Delivers training and support on standard process improvement including but not limited to classroom training,content development, and champion training
  • Identifies line of business opportunities for improvement and drives continuous improvement adoption with speed and urgency
  • Offers regular updates on project progress and performs analyses of results and data with oversight from other team members
  • Evaluates potential projects with oversight from other team members against selection criteria, reviews project activities for progress and roadblocks, conducts tollgate reviews, and works with stakeholders and others to remove roadblocks to success
  • Communicate progress, status, and issues to all stakeholders
  • Participates in project prioritization meetings with other members of the management team
  • Interfaces regularly with business unit managers to define project direction and system change priorities
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with process improvement
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified or relevant experience
  • Relevant experience with Agile Development methods
  • Proven success in delivering results, and identifying operational opportunities; analytical and problem solving skills
  • Relevant experience in system implementation and administration
  • Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Good facilitation and project management skill
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight
  • Good ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
  • Good ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • Good ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Up to 10% travel time required

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $67,200-100,800 and eligible for bonus and benefits
