JOB SUMMARY

Ensures compliance with contract specification requirements through the various commissioning levels.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five -year electrical apprentice program or a combination of education and experience within the electrical construction industry. A minimum of 3 years commissioning experience or equivalent.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough knowledge of commissioning activities. Experience in construction activities and control system installation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, direct, and supervise project commissioning functions and activities.

  • Review, understand, and implement the Contract Specification commissioning requirements through the various levels of construction from installation through integrated systems testing.
  • Coordinate with QAQC team members to perform audits of documentation and installation checklists.
  • Ensures timely submission of required testing documentation.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members through start-up and commissioning of systems.
  • Act as liaison with the client, subcontractors, and internal departments on commissioning matters.
  • Ensure company standards are outlined and effectively implemented.
  • Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance with Contract Specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
