Job Description

The Service Lead (Inspections) reports to the Fire Service Manager.

What you will do:

  • Assist with training inspectors and monitor adherence to procedures, policies and business systems and identify areas of improvement.
  • Focus on Joint Commission training
  • Review Xaap reports to ensure accuracy
  • Work with inspectors to study and sign up for NICET tests
  • Provide scheduling support to inspection scheduler to meet scheduling goals
  • Update IST with number of hours and inspectors needed
  • Optimizing schedule of day-to-day deployment of inspectors
  • Demonstrate the ability to assist resolving customer issues before escalating to TSM. Escalate repeat issues to NA, CCA, etc.
  • Run weekly huddle meetings.
  • Assist with contract maintenance with sales reps to solve root cause issues and correct errors found in contracts and contract entry.
  • Assist TSM with annual reviews for inspection team
  • Work with sales team to grow and preserve the RIF base
  • Work in the field with the team completing inspections as needed

What we are looking for:

  • State of Ohio Fire Alarm or Sprinkler License - both are preferable (or have the knowledge and experience to have within 30 days of employment)
  • NICET II or the work history to qualify and take tests within 90 days of employment.
  • Experience with fire alarm and/or sprinkler inspection reporting practices and requirements
  • Joint Commission knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer to learn to navigate the many systems needed to accomplish the tasks above
