Position Summary:

Hillenbrand is looking for a Cost Analyst to join our team remotely. Our Global Supply Management Rotational Development Program is intended to develop talented, high potential leaders within our GSM function. The 27-month program allows for nine-month to one-year rotations across Cost Analytics, Project and Advanced Sourcing, Supplier Quality Management and Development, and Global Category Management. Comprehensive training and coaching will be offered in all rotations. The Program will include one international rotation with the other two in North America. Upon completion of the program, the Rotational Associate will have the opportunity to assume a role within our Global Supply Management function domestically.

Work You'll Do:

  • Rotations include the following:

    • Partner with and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders

    • Participate in cost analytics, organizational development, supplier development activities, and category strategy development and deployment

    • Identify cost improvement opportunities, implement improvements that capture the identified opportunities

  • Note: Specific rotations are subject to change as Hillenbrand continues to grow and maintains a focus on continually improving the rotational program to develop future Global Supply Management leaders.

Travel:

Rotational associates must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.


Team:

This role will be a part of the Global Supply Management organization. This role will report directly to Sr. Director, GSM.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Results driven, highly motivated individual with a curious mindset

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving and strong analytical skills

  • Intermediate Excel skills, along with proficient skills in other Microsoft Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree from a college or university in Industrial Engineering (mechanical or electrical), Supply Chain, Business Analytics, International Management, or related fields

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
