We are hiring a Warehouse Operator for our Highland Heights, OH location! This professional will be responsible for running the hose department. Including production order release and completion.

Morris,a subsidiary of Applied Fluid Products/Applied Industrial Technologies,the Warehouse Operator role has an immediate impact on our customers, and on our company performance, This is a full-time permanent position.

What you'll do:

  • Pick and/or pull parts for hose assembly utilizing computer generated pick tickets.
  • Interface with inventory and ERP software systems.
  • Assemble utilizing hand and power tools following instructions and utilizing company assembly procedures.
  • Package product for shipment.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment.
  • Assist with other assembly-related tasks.
  • Cycle count Inventory
  • Participate in ISO 9001-2015 methods of defect reduction including root cause investigation and countermeasure implementation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write and understand work instructions.
  • Must be able to read tape measure.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Crating experience is a plus.
