Danfoss in Utica has a unique opening for a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift. The hours for this position are 3:00 - 11:30 PM.
The Production Supervisor is to ensure the manufacturing process operates to expectations on assigned shifts in our manufacturing production department. Safely manage production activities and resources on their shift to ensure quality processes and products that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role will have a close working relationship with other departments for problem-solving and frequent communication with stakeholders.
Your focus will be on continuous improvement to increase the effectiveness of our processes inside our manufacturing plant, through strong data analysis, problem-solving, engineering approach, and project management. To achieve that, part of your daily mission will be to lead, coach, and train the technical staff of your team, filling the identified skills gap and developing the adequate technicalexpertise of the shift production team.
Your team will consist of 4 Team Coordinators and up to 30 Production Operators working in a fast-paced state-of-the-art cleanroom environment producing electrical modules.
Travel may be required for up to 4 weeks for initial training to a company facility in Germany.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $70,000-$80,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
