Work Days and Expected Hours:

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department).

Function: Assume responsibility for developing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to grow across the bank footprint. Responsible to develop both new services and business for the bank, focusing primarily on Treasury Management services and deposit growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops moderately complex-to-complex new business opportunities through proactive calls on new and existing customers for Deposits, Loans, and Treasury Management Services.

  • Expectations of this role include successfully and consistently obtaining production goals in new deposit generation (assessed/assigned annually) and in fee generation (assessed/assigned annually).

  • Researches, recommends and becomes the team expert on new product development with Treasury Management

  • Manages a customer portfolio to help relationship managers with risk assessments and cross-sell into customers within that portfolio

  • Completes the appropriate risk assessments and enhanced due diligence forms for new customer acquisitions

  • Actively involved in community activities and organizations to support networking opportunities and enhance the visibility of S&T Bank in the marketplace.

  • Leads periodic team meetings with all team members, reviewing market results, identifying sales & market opportunities and supporting product knowledge updates when needed.

  • Assists in setting market budgets, incentive programs, team/market goals and the development of market oriented business plans.

  • Works with market team members to develop prospect lists of both existing and prospective customers as leads as well as developing prospects/leads.

  • Supports effective team dynamics in your market through; coordination of joint calling efforts, resolution of team conflict, effective communication of action plans and marketing initiatives and coordination of additional marketing and training support when necessary.

  • Develops new business through proactive calls on existing customers and new commercial loan customers, who offer opportunity for additional deposits, loan or Treasury Management relationships.

  • Makes joint calls with Commercial Bankers and other calling officers.

  • Provides input in the development of new banking, deposit and cash management product and service.

  • Serves as the "expert" of Treasury Management products/sales to promote sales and to serve as a resource to customers to improve their Treasury Management positions.

  • Participates in seminars to customers, prospects and bank employees on various deposit and Treasury Management products.

  • Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Physical Demands

Considerable travel, including overnight travel to accomplish the sales expectation of this role. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing, data entry, and filing on a frequent basis of 40% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18"-20", for both computer work and travel. Education

Requires a four-year degree or equivalent.

Experience

Requires five to ten years general related banking experience, with one to two years specialized treasury management experience.

Salary Range:

$55,000.00 - $136,000.00
