As a Business Analyst, you will be delivering actionable insights to drive business growth & enabling the Technology for Infrastructure & Operations primarily based on data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning to support organizational success. The emphasis is on enabling "Business" value through IT solutions. From existing integrations, structures, to a built-from-scratch applications, you are an expert at digging in and understanding how systems work together. In executive meetings you will be the technical voice who can speak to the systems impact. In discussions with developers, you will be the voice of the business advocating for your customer. You really get the big picture and business goal and are adept at translating that into the details needed for your team to make the goal a reality. What we are looking for:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Support solution delivery lifecycle including detailing features, collaborate with IT developers, vendors, and implementation team, support testing efforts and facilitate UAT. Resource management for the project work effort vs available team capacity.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and troubleshoot/resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications helping to identify cross-dependencies & cross-impacts at earlier stages of discussion embracing dependency management process for maintaining timeliness of the project.
  • Analyzes the needs & problems of a business & proposes solutions to improve its performance and efficiency.
  • Business analysis feasibility assessment covering methodology, budget, & schedule, key stakeholders, elicitation techniques, and quality assurance methods.
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and configurations.
  • Ownership at program/project level by defining the functional expectations & confirming the feasibility of the proposed solutions.
  • Supporting adherence to Audit & Controls timeliness.
    • Coordinate, prioritize & track control activities with delivery teams.
    • Open Audit Issues and Risks Issue documentation and tracking as needed.
  • Writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents. Maintain project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, etc.) and documents process flows and gaps.
    • Create and maintain appropriate project plans & progress.
    • Team project Wiki documentation facilitation & creation

Qualifications Required:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years Business/Solutions Analysis experience, preferably working in an Agile environment.
  • Understand IT Infrastructure based technologies: demonstrates competency (or capacity to be successful) in the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions and successfully position with customers.
  • Collaboration, collaboration and one more time, collaboration. You are an experienced liaison who can bring all stakeholders together and, more importantly, get them to agree.
  • Experience with facilitating large groups and hosting training sessions. Track record of being able to communicate complex problems across teams and users in an understandable fashion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and timelines while being detail oriented.
  • Accountability and willingness to be pro-active in learning and improving the quality of deliverables and efficiency of processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: we're looking for someone who can work closely with technology teammates and business sponsors, while still being able to challenge traditional thought processes with new and innovative ideas.
  • Extensive and recent experience and In-depth knowledge of end-to-end lifecycle including risk, controls, audit, legal and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required and data analytics preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving and the ability to influence outside of the direct team; ability to formulate a problem statement, identify and QC needed inputs, and deliver the right outputs is a must.
  • Anticipating potential problems and acting to minimize the impact they may have on a project or business effort.
  • Ability to collaborate with different technology towers to achieve common goals.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

    • Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or other similar IIBA's certifications
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Knowledgeable in Workfront, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Lucid Chart, and Confluence
