Job Overview:
The Procedural Room Nurse is responsible for the care and sedation of patients during Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The most successful nurses have cath lab, critical care and or emergency nurse backgrounds and are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.

This position applies the nursing process in providing direct and indirect holistic care to patients and their families. The position also collaborates, in a collegial manner, with physicians and other health care team members in meeting the patient's needs. This position may delegate certain aspects of care to those under their direct supervision, within the scope of nursing practice.

Job Requirement:

  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing. New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional, Cath Lab, ICU, or ED as Registered Nurse
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
  • This role have a 30-minute distance on-call commitment.

Additional information:

  • On-call commitment is one night weekly, every 4th weekend, and addt'l call as needed.
  • Addt'l hourly incentives when on-call and call-in.
  • Weekly rotating schedule is 4 days / 10 hours ( 7:30AM - 5:30PM)

Sign-on Eligibility:

  • 2 years or more of experience in Cath Lab, ICU, or ER as Registered Nurse $35,000 Bonus ( 2 years work commitment)
  • Less than 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, ICU, or ER as Registered Nurse or no experience $17,500 Bonus (1 year work commitment)
  • Full time employment commitment required
  • Rehires within 12 months are not eligible.
  • Internal Candidates are not eligible
