Job Description

LOCATION: Hybrid in Westfield Center, OH. Hybrid means at least 3 days in he office weekly.

The Legal Operations Analyst, working under general supervision, is responsible for the preservation, collection, and production of documents in response to actual or potential litigation ensuring consistent standards, processes, and methods are used. The role supports and maintains the technology associated with the company's support tools including the creation of tools and techniques to automate the support process. The role utilizes document and data management systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of client casework, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.


  • Assists in the preservation, collection, review and production of both paper and electronic documents in response to internal investigations, subpoenas or litigations, using industry standard methodology.
  • Creates and maintains matter documentation to ensure that consistent standards, process and methods are applied for every aspect of every discovery project and to guarantee a clear audit trail and chain of custody.
  • Supports and maintains the technology associated with the company's legal operations tools including the creation of tools and techniques to automate the litigation support process.
  • Utilizes document and data management systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of client casework, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Compiles and summarizes large quantities of data for clients, managers, and reporting needs and gathers and maintains confidential client contact information.
  • Develops workflows and processes to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations across worldwide offices.
  • Creates and maintains process and workflow documentation for all legal operations processes, investigation protocols, maintenance processes and data mapping of all information flows throughout the company.
  • Understands the substantive, technical and legal issues on cases to contribute meaningfully to overall case strategy and makes relevancy calls/decisions regarding information/documents needed.
  • Coordinates with internal team members and partners, employees at all levels within the company as well as externally with outside counsel and vendors.
  • Researches and makes recommendations on emerging trends in the forensic, evidence collection, preservation, e-discovery and legal operations fields.
  • Participates in rule conferences, deposition appearances, internal interviews and court appearances as appropriate.

* 2-4 years of experience in working in a computer forensics or ediscovery field, or a related field.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
