Altamira Technologies is seeking a Principal GEOINT Technologist to help define and implement the technical direction of the company in the domain of GEOINT infrastructure. In response to emergent customer requirements, the Principal GEOINT Technologist leverages their understanding of the national GEOINT infrastructure to develop innovative and viable solutions. They create, lead, and educate technical proposal teams that effectively communicate those solutions through white papers, presentations, and proposals. Upon award, the Principal GEOINT Technologist guides the team to successful execution of the contract.

The Principal GEOINT Technologist is responsible for contributing to and executing the technical and business development strategy designed to capture and win highly-competitive business within classified and unclassified GEOINT government markets. The position could be located in any of the following Altamira locations: McLean, VA; Warrenton, VA; Augusta, GA; or Dayton, OH. Must be able to travel to McLean, VA; Dayton, OH; and Tampa, FL from your current location as required. This position is predominantly in-office with options for occasional remote/telework.

Primary responsibilities:

To collaborate in the creation and execution of the company's technical direction with a concentration on GEOINT activities. Work with the technical and proposal teams to craft technical solutions for government-requested acquisitions. Work with technical staff to help architect systems, guide and mentor execution.

Required Qualifications:

* 8+ years of effective technical execution in the GEOINT domain as a technical contributor in either system engineering or software development

* Familiarity with the technical details and data flow of both tactical and national GEOINT infrastructure

* Experience creating and fielding systems and software in the GEOINT domain

* Progressive hands-on and/or management experience with technical proposal development, BAA's, and white papers

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

* Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or a related field

* Current TS/SCI clearance is REQUIRED.
