We are in search of an SAP BW Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing the necessary BW data models to fulfill our business reporting and analysis needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing BW best practices and standards within the team, managing BW development projects, and providing ongoing support and maintenance for all SAP BW systems and components.

Your tasks will include analyzing and configuring the BW data environment to support customized reporting and data analytics solutions, as well as devising processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues. You may also be assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in SAP BW, including the implementation of large-scale reporting projects in areas such as OTC, PTP, and RTR.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the development of InfoCubes, DSOs, InfoObjects, Multiproviders, transformations, and similar components.
• Knowledge of BW Security and SAP BPC functionality.
• Experience with ABAP, including writing User Exits, Routines, Enhancements, and creating Generic extractors.
• Direct experience collaborating with business analysts and process owners to gather business requirements and translate complex ideas into technical solutions.
• Prior experience in production support, troubleshooting data load failures in process chains, and resolving transport failures.
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams to address system performance issues.
• Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BW on HANA, HANA Views, and modeling.
• Knowledge of extracting data from SAP ECC into Azure Data Lake.
• Proficiency in creating pipelines in Azure Synapse and utilizing Notebooks in Databricks.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps functionality and coding in Python.
