Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Technical Publication Delivery Specialist at a corporate partner's facility in Cincinnati, OH. The primary function of this role is to prepare and compile final technical end-products for delivery. The successful candidate will gather general data to support the production and delivery of end products, ensuring compliance with program directives, sales orders, and contractual agreements for technical documents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather general data to support the production and delivery of final technical end-products.
  • Comply with program directives, sales orders, or other requests to ensure external customer contractual agreements for technical documents are met.
  • Review vendor supplied materials to ensure general contractual compliance.
  • Perform a final quality check on data from writers or editors, or on other data products.
  • Produce final products in digital format or other formats as per contract requirements.
  • Maintain delivery record data files, including receiving, filing, and retaining reproducible items according to contract requirements.
  • Maintain a general technical data library.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical publication delivery or related fields.
  • Familiarity with technical publication processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of program directives, sales orders, and contractual agreements for technical documents.
  • Ability to review vendor supplied materials for contractual compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform final quality checks on data products.
  • Proficiency in producing final products in digital format or other formats.
  • Experience in maintaining delivery record data files and general technical data libraries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Familiarity with technical writing or flight manual writing processes.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including FAA Regulations, ICAO Standards, OEM Specifications, and Military Standards and Specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and software.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to various facilities for on-site observation and data collection.
