Summary:
The Social Work Supervisor provides supervision to professional staff, hires staff, evaluates staff, leads clinical team, helps to administer the department and backs director when the director is absent.
Responsibilities:
1.Adds value as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers and strategy.
2.Supervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations.
3.Adheres to department budget to maintain expenditure controls.
4.Participates in program and organizational assessment, planning, and development as appropriate to meet the needs of hospital "service areas"
5.Applies advanced clinical professional social work skills to professional social work practice with individuals, families, and groups.

Other information:
Technical Expertise
1.Experience working in a parent-child exposure setting is required.
2.Experience in resolving complicated clinical and personnel issues is required.
3.Experience in documenting, reading, and interpreting medical records is required.
4.Travel and valid Ohio driver's license is required.
5.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
6.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
7.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Read-only EPIC software is required. Computerized expense system is required. Kronos timekeeping is required.
Education and Experience
1.Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or related field is required; Master's degree is required.
2.Certification. Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor licensure is required.
3.Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred. Years of experience supervising: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
4.Experience working with culturally diverse individuals is required/preferred
5.Experience with community resources used by families with children is required/preferred
