Trimble CES is looking for a highly motivated, cross-functional Sales Performance Analyst. The right candidate has a proven track record of success in defining and managing sales compensation design, quotas, and territories within a diverse and fast-paced software company. We seek candidates with broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, and Salesforce.com experience. The role will assist Revenue stakeholders in creating efficiency, assessing performance, and reporting & delivering results. This role will report directly to the Manager of CES Sales Performance within the Global CES Sales Operations group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning Cycle: Contribute to the sales planning cycle on an annual basis. Drive timeline, alignment, and execution to deliver sales compensation details by annual SKO event

  • Territory Planning: Drive territory analysis and set the stage for organizational optimization and growth. Understand sales handoffs in territory design and have the ability to clearly define rules of engagement and documentation needed to manage expectations

  • Quota Planning: Set quotas and targets for revenue generating teams and align with organizational design and seller expectations

  • Define T&Cs: Help define standard terms and conditions (T&Cs) that govern the compensation plan collaboratively with PX, Legal, Finance, and Sales Leadership

  • Sales Tools Automation: Automates processes to make the Sales Operations team and sales teams more efficient. Focuses on driving sales rather than on manual tasks

  • Cross-functional player: As part of the Sales Operations group, partner with other Revenue supporting teams as needed (i.e. Enablement, Customer Success)

  • Commissions: Lead process improvement efforts around the compensation planning and maintenance process. Creation and management of all Sales Compensation Plan documents, policies, and internal processes. Drive and partner with internal cross-functional teams to create, record, approve, and communicate sales compensation policies and procedures.

  • Executive Presence: Prepare and present executive summaries to sales leadership on a recurring basis

  • Ability to manage change and expectations through a matrixed environment

Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a focus of Finance, Accounting, Business or Marketing

  • Professional: 2-3 years experience in Sales Operations with a focus on sales and incentive compensation design in a fast-paced tech environment

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to design and implement compensation strategies across direct, indirect, and eCommerce channels. Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Excel, Qliksense, Domo, or Tableau preferred

  • Communication: Strong analytical, written and verbal communication with a professional presence

  • Cross-Functional: Excels managing multiple projects and shifting demands and finds joy in it. Works cross-functionally with ease. Excited to build something great!
