Zenetex is looking for a motivated Security Cooperation Instructor to join the Faculty team at the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU). This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. DSCA's mission is to advance U.S. national security and foreign policy interests by building the capacity of foreign security forces to respond to shared challenges. DSCA leads the broader U.S. security cooperation enterprise in its efforts to train, educate, advise, and equip foreign partners. DSCA administers security cooperation programs that support U.S. policy interests and objectives. In this position, you will be teaching Military Officers, Civilians and Industry personnel theories, principles and practices of Security Cooperation.

Teach theories, principles and practices of security cooperation
• Serves in the capacity of Instructor of Security Cooperation Management at the Defense Security Cooperation University and will support the organizational goals through effective instruction for the Security Cooperation Organization/Officer (SCO) Department
• Writes and establishes lesson plans utilizing various teaching methods and research specific to security cooperation
• Supports the department in preparing military officers, enlisted personnel, and DoD civilians to serve within SC Organizations in demanding, Inter-agency, and international environments and to execute SC programs and processes that support all DoD interactions with foreign defense establishments

• BA/BS degree in related field

Allowable Substition:

• Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above

Skills required:

• Must have relateable Security Cooperation experience and be able to teach students who have or will be serving in overseas SCO billets
• Must be able to relay theories, principles, best practices, tactics, techniques, and procedures related to serving within SCOs or Country Teams abroad
• Should possess knowledge and experience with some of the following topics: SCO Operations; SC Planning; FMS CASE Management; and International Training Management
• Performs instructor duties such as conducting exercises, seminars, workshops, and tutorials in resident and non-resident courses
• Must serve as an advisor/mentor to student groups and individuals and act as a course manager and/or cohort manager during instruction

• This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Active clearance highly desired.
