Description

Primary role of this position is to make sure all press and finishing supplies for press are stocked.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inclusive but not limited to

  • Cut stock to job specifications.
  • Stage stock at presses.
  • Stage stock at digital presses.
  • Remove unused stock from presses and return to proper place.
  • Keep accurate inventory levels of all stocks.
  • Keep accurate record keeping and file appropriate paperwork for stock usage.
  • Flip Work & Turn and SWBUY forms for presses.
  • Empty trash cans for presses and ink room.
  • Replenish all press supplies.
  • Mix ink as needed.
  • Make job bags/ folders for the presses.
  • File job bags/ folders.
  • Remove used plates from press.
  • Punch and stage coating blankets.
  • Inventory pressroom items and inform Manager of Pressroom of need to reorder.
  • Clean and mop pressroom.
  • Properly dispose of used ink as directed from Manager of Pressroom.
  • Mix press fountain solution as needed.
  • Move up to Feeder position as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college of technical school or; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires leaning, standing, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
