The selected candidate will be an HR Business Partner to the Ft. Hood, Texas Customer Support Organization. The Customer Support Organization includes our global Logistics, Test and Evaluation and our Sustainment capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation and support to managers and supervisors in addressing employee issues such as performance, conflict management, policy interpretation and other issues impacting productivity and/or morale. Conducts confidential investigations in response to formal complaints.
  • Build trusted partnerships with department leaders through consultative and collaborative efforts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR programs and services that support development of organizational and talent capabilities.
  • Solicit and listens to client concerns and takes an active role in resolving problems.
  • Conduct talent acquisitionactivities: coordinating interview schedules,managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), performing the pre and post-employment processes and employee onboarding process.
  • Conduct and assist new-hire orientation as well as exit interviews.
  • Provide information, or facilitate employees' ability to obtain information about benefits, compensation, training and other HR programs and services.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provides routine information to employees and managers on HR matters which may include Company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Interact closely/positively with other HRBP's to achieve departmental goals and objectives in a team environment; Supports and executes enterprise HR initiatives including talent development, employee relations and total rewards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal policies, regulations and laws.
  • Provide guidance and resolve challenges in areas related to immigration, deployment, short and long term agreements, relocation, assignment compensation and benefits.
  • Execute full cycle deployment, immigration and life support tasks and requirements
  • Utilize AssignmentPro (APRO) system to initiate, manage and maintain long and short term agreements, extensions, allowances and life support authorizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Position Requirements:
  • Must havea completed a Bachelor'sdegree, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline;
  • Five (5) years of HR experience with a majority of that experience performing exempt level generalist HR responsibilities or in a Business Partner role. International HR experience preferred.
  • Strong employee relations experience preferred in a maintenance environment;
  • Must effectively portray professional, customer service oriented, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels of the organization;
  • Workers compensation experience preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must have the ability to build strong relationships with individual employees and all levels of management;
  • Strong process orientation mind-set;
  • A general understanding of human resource policies, procedures, practices and state and federal employment law;
  • Must be a U.S. person;
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Must be proficient with HRIS and PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, applicant tracking systems, knowledge of PeopleSoft is a plus;
  • Must have experience with internal and external recruiting;
  • High degree of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, follow up on assigned projects and meet deadlines
