Job Description

JOB

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Cincinnati, OH, to plan, lead and implement successful test automation for multiple projects. Define test automation strategy and test access (GUI vs. Non-UI). Define agile automation test processes for teams. Actively contribute to sharing testing and tool knowledge inside of the testing team. Define Test Data management strategy for automation. Bring test automation to the next level. Support a team of Test Automation Specialists. Provide demonstrations of test automation and training to team. Provide status reporting to project leadership. Contribute to feature requirements. Implement test automation in the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with DEV, QA, TechOps and Product teams to close automation gaps. Train automation engineers on best practices and toolset. Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues. Review automated test cases to ensure coverage and best practices are met. Evaluate industry tools and provide direction on which tools to utilize.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing tools including SOAP UI, Selenium, and UFT; designing test scripts and preparing test strategies, test plans, test schedules, test scenarios, test cases, and test reports; utilizing tracking tools including Rally, Jira and Quality Centre for managing test plans, test cases and defects; identifying and resolving problems using procedures and protocols including SQL, XML, API, Java, and programming concepts; understanding software delivery lifecycle including agile processes; and performing front to back-end testing including unit and system testing.
