Individual performs a variety of duties. Fills in where directed and as workload changes, including but not limited to, occasional operational activities at another nearby location. Individual must hold appropriate licensure and certification for each responsibility if required and be trained appropriately on all operational and safety procedures for each job task. Reports to Site or Operations Manager/Supervisor. Interacts with customers, Matheson sales, management and other operations personnel.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*	Complete field repairs of tank valves and seals; finds and repairs leaks at customer sites
*	Responsible for installation of propane tanks and services customer and company equipment
*	Performs all daily functions in a safe manner
*	Maintains excellent customer relations by providing courteous, professional and timely service
*	Drives a service truck with a crane and boom attached to deliver, install, and remove tanks of various sizes at customer locations
*	Stays within all posted speed limits and complies with all Matheson, DOT and State safe driving laws & procedures.
●	Works a flexible schedule with possible after hours emergency callouts.
*	Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
*	Acts as the go-to person in the primary area of responsibility.

Driving would include

*	Responsible for loading vehicle to insure efficient routing, delivery following Matheson, DOT and State safe driving laws & procedures.
●	Responsible for resolving customer complaints, informing office of customer complaints or other issues.
*	Responsible for pick-up, unloading and accurately completing paperwork.
*	Responsible for completing/maintaining reports concerning deliveries and vehicle inspections and preparing manifest and Inspection logs for truck.
*	Stays within all posted speed limits and complies with all Matheson, DOT and State safe driving laws & procedures.
●	Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle. Maintains the vehicle in a clean and proper condition.
*	Maintains good communications with supervisor and management especially safety and customer matters.
*	Operates / Drives forklift truck as required for loading and unloading of product.
*	Sets tone for employees by good example through observation of the company's Loss prevention policies and procedures. Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
*	Uses effective time management tools in order to follow through on work commitments and scheduled deadlines associated with own job; obtains agreement of all stake-holders within a development program to identify issues, minimizes risks at an early stage, ensure safety, and on-time delivery.
*	Participate as an active member of the local safety committee when assigned according to the rotation process.
*	Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Other duties would include

*	Occasionally filling cylinders according to proper procedures.
*	Responsible for safely transporting and storing filled cylinders.
*	Responsible for correctly completing all required forms, logs, reports or checklists.
*	Responsible for communicating or associated equipment deficiencies to supervisor.
*	Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
*	Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

*	One to five+ years related experience preferred
*	Class A or B Commercial Driver*s License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
*	Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) certificate a plus but not required
*	Applicable state and local licenses may be required
