Job Description

As a Communications Intern, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll be part of a team, working with experienced staff. You'll get an introduction to Olsson'sculture that will help you evaluate our firm as a career choice. As an intern for our Communications team, you will assist with employee communications tasks to ensure timely and meaningful engagement within our firm.

You will write articles; create and post content to our intranet site; assist with collecting, verifying, and formatting data; and provide additional review and editing on various communications.

Please supply 2-3 writing samples that reflect your strengths or include your website with writing samples.

Qualifications

You are passionate about:

  • Working collaboratively with others to positively impact internal teams and to progress communication initiatives.
  • Having ownership in the work you do.
  • Presenting the best version of a project to your audience.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Sharp editing skills.
  • Adherence to brand style standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, Marketing, or other related majors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience with InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
