Job Description

This position is responsible for sales of Custom Molding/Contract Manufacturing

  • Become adept with our manufacturing capabilities and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sourcing influencers at existing and prospective customers.
  • Assess and understand customer requirements and present the appropriate Flambeau services to secure new business.
  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities that align with Flambeau's volume, price and profit objectives.
  • Perform "Account Manager" responsibilities for designated accounts.
  • Provide direction as needed on existing programs and oversee the internal cross-functional execution of new programs.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to manage and optimize relationships, revenue and profit.
  • Maintain a professional and disciplined approach to executing all responsibilities of the position.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree Business or Engineering, or related field preferred. Will consider appropriate combination of education and related experience.

Experience and Requirements:

  • This is an on-site position. We currently have Sales Manager openings based within the following Flambeau manufacturing facilities; Baraboo, WI / Sharon Center, Ohio / Columbus, IN / Madison, GA / Phoenix, AZ.
  • Prefer minimum 2 years of similar experience in custom molding / contract manufacturing. Talented candidates with successful experience in the following functions within the custom molding industry will also be considered: program/project management, NPD engineering, tooling engineering, customer service, quality engineer.
  • ERP system experience (IQMS/Delmia is a definite plus).
  • CRM system experience.
  • Understanding of ISO quality system standards and protocols.
  • Proficient in developing and closing long (12+months) sales cycles.

Skill Requirements:

  • Highly effective in building customer and colleague relationships.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, emphasis on the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Attention to details and disciplined approach to organizing and executing job responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection or blow molding processes is preferable, but not required if you are otherwise the right professional for this position.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRM and ERP systems.
  • Willing and available to travel as needed to develop and maintain customers.
