SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for achieving productivity objectives, operation schedules, and economic goals for the Toledo facility. Responsibilities also include cultivating a cohesive environment where work-life balance is encouraged through safety adherence, team values, and supporting personal commitments to realize organizational success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervises up to 35 employees.
- Schedules labor and resources to meet production requirements.
- Partners with sales and transportation managers to streamline operations.
- Partners with TMR department as necessary for corrective actions, including termination of employment.
- Ensure employee discussions, documentation, and performance evaluations are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with quality procedures which includes but is not limited to competence, awareness, training, and planning of product realization.
- Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with established company policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local ordinances.
- Ensures weekly employee timesheets are accurate and are submitted to payroll.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
