Field of activity
As an Intern - Clearstream Risk Management you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. Risk management is an elementary component of the management and control of Deutsche Brse Group. The main purpose of the Risk Management area is to monitor the overall risk profile so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of Clearstream can be identified and suitable countermeasures can be deployed. You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Tasks/responsibilities:
* Generate analyses and documents for the decision making process in regards to latest risk management issues
* Supporting the identification of operational risks and business risks together with business units
* Participation in ongoing projects of the area, especially in the yearly review of operational risk scenarios
* Support in the course of common risk management operations
* Administrative and organisational tasks
Qualifications/required skills:
* You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme (e.g. Business, Finance, Economics) with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months
* Profound knowledge in statistics with an interest in banks and stock markets
* Team player and excellent communication skills, such as commitment, ability to work independently, motivation and accuracy
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point)
* Proficiency in written and spoken English
