What You'll Do:

The best is yet to come! Here, you'll be able to connect and network with other interns, innovative peers and mentors who will challenge you and help you develop important skills while contributing your creative perspective on major projects. You'll even have the chance to connect and engage with senior leaders across all business functions including technology, marketing, corporate strategy, retail, customer care and more.

12-week Summer Internship

  • May 23rd - August 12th or June 20th - September 9th
  • What locations to expect:

Locations of individual opportunities are determined by the business and therefore to be interested in on our opportunities you must be open to relocation for the duration of the 12-week internship. All 2022 interns will be assigned to an office location.

Relocation is provided to any candidate who is located more than 50 miles outside of the assigned office location.

GAP year students are ineligible. External applicants eligible only. Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for UofMagenta Internships. T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

  • Familiarity designing and/or producing social content (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Early-stage portfolio demonstrating storytelling, videography, animation, design, photography, or mixed media composition.
  • Self-motivated work ethic with a passion for creativity and storytelling; known for being clever, relatable and constantly curious (aka brings a "what if we did ___" mentality), continually bringing new ideas to the table
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver consistent quality of work-all while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable & confident in a room of like-minded individuals; capable of articulating and presenting creative ideas. Open to taking and applying feedback.
  • Passion for pop/digital culture and a meme-aficionado
  • Comfortable operating a DSLR camera.
  • Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop experience

You'll be a part the Brand Communications & Community Team comprised of social, design, and paid media professionals. This role will help elevate and differentiate our brand by creating disruptive, exciting and thumb-stopping motion graphics on T-Mobile's social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and more) and beyond. Your responsibilities will include ideating, creating, and editing content, focusing on helping to make T-Mobile even more famous in social. We're looking for a creative thinker and fast mover, who also has excellent organization skills and is an awesome team player and partner.
