Arup is looking for a Data Management and Digital Marketing Intern to support the Insights team as part of Arup's marketing, communications, and business development activities. Working within a small team, you will have the opportunity take ownership of projects and interact with local, regional, and global staff members across all levels. The Insights team is a cross-disciplinary, agile group, working to bring targeted skills and out-of-the-box thinking to create efficiency and innovation in Arup's marketing, communications, and business development activities. The Data Management and Digital Marketing Intern will specifically support the team's work in digital tools and systems, as well as integrating and utilizing various digital marketing platforms and best practices, work with data to help our organization make better business decisions. **RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS SPECIFIC ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:** - Draw conclusions from data associated with clients and projects to tell stories and describe current events in reports, dashboards, content marketing collateral - Develop training guidelines on best practices and data quality protocols both in general and for Arup's specific data platforms - Cleaning data in Arup databases including CRM and Marketo - Working with the regional content marketing specialist to use data and analytics to support marketing campaigns - General support for the day-to-day work of the regional CRM and Marketo teams **QUALIFICATIONS** **REQUIRED** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher) - Experience with Excel - Experience with or deep interest in knowledge management and digital analytics - Good verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a team and with staff at all levels - Proactive and curious, problem-solving attitude. Ready to work independently to deliver on tasks that have been designed by the team. - Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with great attention to detail - Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of new tasks on a project by project basis, learning with a newly developing team with diverse skillsets - Must not require sponsorship, now or in the future to be considered for this role **PREFERRED** - Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams - Experience with databases such as Microsoft Dynamics and visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBi - Experience with marketing automation software such as Marketo or similar platform - Experience with Sharepoint **NOTABLE PROJECTS** For over seven decades Arup has been at the forefront of the most ambitious and innovative design and engineering.
