Summary:

The Sara Lee Frozen Bakery marketing internship program will allow interns to hone analytical and strategic thinking skills while working on immersive and challenging projects. Interns will experience day-to-day work as a marketing team member, gain exposure to cross-functional teams and senior management, and learn more about Sara Lee Frozen Bakery businesses. Interns will provide in-depth analysis of business trends and provide, action-oriented business recommendations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

• Analyzing competitor actions and strategies to pinpoint opportunity areas and recommend brand responses
• Evaluating new product opportunities and platforms based on consumer insights, re-staging and positioning product platforms
• Recommend new strategies to communicate to our consumers and customers
• Collaborating with sales team in key customer opportunities
• Supporting trade shows and industry events

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business
• Critical thinkers who can solve problems and make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated leadership when championing ideas and concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High interest and knowledge of social media platforms and influencers
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite, are essential
• Experience in building and delivering presentations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize work initiatives, collaborate and drive for results
