The Summer Associate Graduate Intern Program is a 10+ week program beginning in June 2022 and ends in August 2022. The long-term intention for this program is to hire interns that prove their aptitude into full time roles. To qualify for an internship, applicants must be currently pursuing a graduate or PHD level degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date after the final day of the internship (December 2022 or later).

Department:
The Card Experience and Operations (CXO) team provides support to Credit Card Lending in the areas of system administration and management, reporting and analysis, workforce management and forecasting, and process improvement. CXO identifies, analyzes, and advises on innovative ways to optimize experiences, improve processes, develop, and enhance reporting metrics, and monitor/reduce costs to the credit union by supporting Credit Card Lending, our business partners, and members.

Skills & Experience
* Currently pursuing a master's degree or higher in related field of process improvement driven research and analysis
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
* Significant experience in the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and related analytical tools
* Advanced knowledge and application of project management, and change management cycles
* Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Advanced skill analyzing, following, interpreting, and applying workflows to understand value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
* Advanced skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information

Potential Projects
The Summer Associate will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to management on the most efficient use of resources to obtain positive and measurable results, with a focus and direction provided from leadership.

Analyze, determine, coordinate, and implement continuous process improvements (CPI) to achieve end-to-end business optimization of moderately complex business processes and systems.

Research internal processes and capabilities to improve Return on Investment (ROI), enhance the effectiveness of the business and/or services and react effectively to business needs with moderate latitude for discretion.
